What Guitar Should I Buy?
Buying the right guitar when you’re starting to learn acoustic guitar is essential. It will offer better playability and it will also sound great which should in turn motivate you to practice even more. On the other hand if you buy a dud then it could offer some problems like being hard to play, poor tone and also low resale value.
In the video below if offer a few tips with regards to choosing the right guitar. Even though it helps a lot to have the right guitar I don’t want you to lose any sleep about it though so remember that “a” guitar is better than “no” guitar. The most important point is that momentum is key. Just get going and make sure you practice loads and as you progress you will be given better tools.
This certainly was the case with myself as I started on a piece of firewood to put it lightly. The neck was broken and someone glued it back together and it had terrible action and intonation and I won’t even mention the sound! Today I have a number of guitars and I’m pleased to say they are absolute gems. Just imagined what would have happened if I never got going in the first place just because I didn’t have “the right” guitar!
So I’d advise you to get the best you can afford but don’t get hung up on it too much. Just get a guitar and get going!
What was your first guitar like? Leave your comments in the box below.
